About South Island Filters 

Although the name is new, South Island Filters  is the longest established air filter cleaning business in the South Island.

Current owner, John Palmer. The previous owners ran the business for over 30 years. We are proud to say that we have some customers who have been with us now for over 20 years!

Originally our filter cleaning business started out with the wet wash machine, and it was through a good friend of ours who decided to move on to new ventures, after many years in this same industry, that we purchased their business and acquire a sonic dry filter cleaning machine.

John is the driver behind South Island Filters, running this business like an efficient machine and maintaining excellent working relationships with customers throughout the South Island. John has an extensive  background in the engineering and has been running several diverse businesses well over two decades. 

With the dedication and support of  the team, our filter cleaning service has been dependable and efficient, and we look forward to celebrating 30 years of filter cleaning service in the South Island – only a few years to go!
